A few minutes from Kite Beach, within the same Cabarete bay, Bozo Beach is the town's biggest kitesurfing and windsurfing spot, close to the main hotels, restaurants and shops. A reef protects the bay roughly a kilometre offshore, flattening the swell and creating a more manageable stretch of water, with far more room to manoeuvre than at Kite Beach. It's the natural next step once the basics are dialled in.

Bozo Beach mostly suits riders who are already past the very first basics and looking for room to progress, rather than complete beginners on their first-ever session. No wetsuit is needed: the water stays between 26 and 29°C year-round, as across the rest of Cabarete bay.
BIG AIR Kite School, running out of Bozo Beach for several years now, teaches with VDWS- and IKO-certified instructors across several languages, including English, German, Spanish and Italian. Dominikite also runs lessons on the same spot. Both schools cover every level, from first sessions through to progression into freestyle or foiling, and rent full kit by the day or week.
Bozo Beach sits a little further round the bay than Kite Beach, still within the same town-centre stretch of Cabarete, easily reached on foot or by a short moto-taxi ride. That's what makes it easy for plenty of riders to swap between the two beaches depending on the day or the crowds. The official currency is the Dominican peso (DOP), but the US dollar is widely accepted at hotels, restaurants and watersports schools across the tourist area.
